⇒ 11th term = 35

⇒ a + 10d = 35      ...(1)

⇒ 13th term = 41

⇒ a + 12d = 41       ..(2)

Subtract (1) from (2):

 a + 12d = 41

 a  + 10d = 35

 -     -         -    

     2d    =  6  

2d = 6

d = 6/2 = 3
