Answer:

Given ,

a + 10d = 16 -----(1)

a + 20d = 30 ------(2)

Equation (2) -- (1)

a+20d --(a+10d) = 30 -- 16

=> a+ 20d -- a -- 10d = 14

=> 10d = 14

=> d = 1.4

To find a :-

a + 10d= 16

=> a + 10 × 1.4 = 16

=> a + 14= 16

=> a = 2

Now ,

To find the 16th term of that A.P. :

a+ (16 --1)d

=a+ 15d

= 2 + 15×1.4

= 2 + 21

=23

The 16th term of that A.P. is 23
