The 11th term and the 21st term of an A.P. are 16 and 30 respectively, then find the 16th term of that A.P.​

LET THE FIRST TERM = a AND THE COMMON DIFFERENCE = d

11TH TERM = 16

a+ 10 d = 16 equation 1

21st term = 30

a+ 29 d =30 equation 2

on solving equation 1 and 2

19 d =14

d = 14 /19

a= 290/190

therefore, 16 th term

= a + 15 d

= 290 /190 + 15 * 14 /19

= 29 /19 + 210/19

=239/19
