we know that , tn = a+(n-1)d

16 =a+10d ....(I)

similarly, 29= a+20d (II)

subtracting equation I from II

29 = a + 20d

16 = a + 10d

substituting d = 1.3 in equation I

16 = a+ 10 × 1.3

= a +13

a = 16 - 13

a = 3

now 41th term = 3+(41-1)1.3

= 3 + 52
