a17 = a10 + 7

a + 16d = a + 9d + 7

a - a + 16d - 9d = 7

16d - 9d = 7

7d = 7

d = 7/7

d = 1

Answer:

1

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the first term of the A.P. be 'a'.

Let the common difference be 'd'.

According to Question:-

a_{17} = a_{10} +7

a + 16d = a + 9d +7

16d = 9d + 7

16d - 9d = 7

7d = 7

d = \frac{7}{7}

d = 1

So common difference = 1
