The 1913 Georgia case against a Jewish man sparked fear and antisemitism in the south. Though testimonies and evidence were presented against Leo Frank, many believed the case against him was fabricated. Though he was initially found guilty, what event prevented him from serving his full sentence?

Hey mate,

A group from Marietta kidnapped Frank and hung Leo Frank from an oak tree. The Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith began in Georgia in September 1913. The group called themselves the Knights of Mary Phagan, and were from Phagan's hometown.
