yes. there were a laot of changes in those years. some of them are-

1.underarm bowling was banned. now people only bowled above arms as seen in present time.

2. weight of the ball was changed from 5-6 ounces to 5(2/6)-5(3/6).

3. the introduction of the new vulcanised rubber lead to the invention of protective leg pads and gloves.
