difference is 5 sum 52 +half of 5 =upper limit =54.5 and lower limit will be 54.5 -5=49.5 .so,class interval are( 49.5-54.5), (54.5-59.5)

Answer:

i) class interval of 52 = (49.5-54.5)

ii) class interval of 57 = (54.5-59.5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given two consecutive class marks of a distribution are 52 and 57.

class size(h) = difference of two consecutive class marks

= 57-52

= 5

i) class \:interval\:of \:52\\ =\left(x-\frac{h}{2},x+\frac{h}{2}\right)\\=\left(52-2.5,52+2.5\right)\\=\left(49.5,54.5\right)

ii) class \:interval\:of \:57\\ =\left(x-\frac{h}{2},x+\frac{h}{2}\right)\\=\left(57-2.5,57+2.5\right)\\=\left(54.5,59.5\right)

Therefore,

i) class interval of 52 = (49.5-54.5)

ii) class interval of 57 = (54.5-59.5)
