Tui Malila is one of the oldest tortoises, having lived for 200 years.
The tortoise had linked to James Cook and the Tonga Dynasty.
It is said that the tortoise was given as a present to one of the members of the Tongan family by James Cook. The female tortoise belongs to the Geochelone Radiata species.
Tui Malila was born around 1777 and died around 1965. Her body is on display at t Royal Palace of Tonga.
