a =10 and d =-3

an= a+(n-1)d

an= 10 +(20-1)(-3)

an= 10-19(3)

an= 10-57

an = -47
an= a20
which is 20th term

amitkhokhar: i think had taken common difference as +3 but its -3
snehasunil26: THE COMMON DIFFERENCE IS -3 AS THE COMMON DIFFERENCE IS CALCULATED ON THE BASIS OF 2ND NO.-1ST NO. OF THE PROGRESSION..AND THAT'S HOW BOTH OF US LANDED WITH-47 BUT IF WE HAD TAKEN D=3 WE WOULD HAVE GOT ANS. AS 67 AS WELL

Answer:

-47

Step-by-step explanation:

A=10

D=7-10=-3

T20=10+19*-3

T20=10-57

T20=-47

THE ANSWER WILL COME IN NEGATIVE AS THE DIFFERENCE OF THE PROGRESSION IS NEGATIVE.

ALWAYS TAKE NOTE OF THE DIFFERENCE WHEN SOLVING AP SUMS

ALL THE BEST...

snehasunil26: HE COMMON DIFFERENCE IS -3 AS THE COMMON DIFFERENCE IS CALCULATED ON THE BASIS OF 2ND NO.-1ST NO. OF THE PROGRESSION.
