Given,

t23=32

a+22d=32

a=32-22d..............1)

t35=104

a+34d=104

a=104-34d..............2)

Equating both equations, we get,

a=a

32-22d =104-34d

34d-22d=104-32

12d=72

d=72/12

d= 6

Now, putting the value of d in eq2) we get,,

a= 104-34×6

a=104-204

a=-100
