3rd term and 9th term

a+2d=4. equation (1)

a+8d= -8. equation (2)

substracting equation 2 from 1

a+8d - a-2d = -8 -4

6d= - 12

d= -2

and putting the value of d = -2 in equation 1

a+2(-2)= 4

a-4= 4

a= 8

now ATQ

TN=0 , a=8 , d= -2

we know that Tn= a+(n-1) d

0= 8+(n-1) -2

0= 8-2n+2

2n= 10

n= 5 .

so the 5th term of Ap is 0 .
