The 6th term of an Ap is 17 and the 70th term is 33 find the common difference​

$t_{n} = a + (n - 1)d$

According to the 1st statement :

$t_{6} = a + (6 - 1)d \\ \\ = > 17 = a + 5d...(1)$

According to the 2nd statement :

$t_{70} = a + (70 - 1)d \\ \\ = > 33 = a + 69d....(2)$

On solving the equation (1) and (2) :

17 = a + 5d

33 = a + 69d

On subtracting :

16 = 64d

=> d = 1/4

So, the common difference will be 1/4
