Heya !!

8th term = 0

a + 7d = 0

a = -7d

To prove :- 38th term = 3 ( 18th term )

=> a + 37d = 3 ( a + 17d )

=> -7d + 37d = 3 ( -7d + 17d )

=> 30d = 3 ( 10d )

=> 30d = 30d

Hence,

38th term = 3 ( 18th term ).

Given :-

a8 = 0

a + 7d = 0

To prove :-

a38 = 3 ( a18 )

Solution :-

a + 37 d = 3 ( a + 17 d )

Putting value of a

- 7 d + 37 d = 3 ( - 7d + 17 d )

30 d = 3 ( 10 d )

30 d = 30 d

Hence proved !!
