Answer: Option B. Free and compulsory elementary education upto age of 14

Explanation:

The 86th Constitutional Amendment Act-2002 aims at providing free and compulsory elementary education upto age of 14.

As per the above act every child aged between 6 to 14 years is entitled to receive free and compulsory education. This has been mentioned via Article 21A in the 86th Constitution Amendment Act .

All the government schools would provide the children with free education. The schools would be guided by School Management Committees. It was made compulsory for the private schools to admit minimum 25% of their children without charging any fees from them. The National Commission for Elementary Education was formed to keep an eye all aspects relating to elementary education.

Hope this helps.
