Hey there,

● Answer-

vk = 2.203×10^8 m/s

va = 2.083×10^8 m/s

● Explanation-

# Given-

μk = 1.36

μa = 1.44

# Solution-

Velocity of light through kerosene is calculated by-

vk = c / μk

vk = 3×10^8 / 1.36

vk = 2.203×10^8 m/s

Velocity of light through alcohol is calculated by-

va = c / μa

va = 3×10^8 / 1.44

va = 2.083×10^8 m/s

Therefore, speed of light in kerosene is 2.203×10^8 m/s and through alcohol is 2.083 m/s.

Hope this helps...
