Refractive index of glass =\frac {3}{2}

Refractive index of water =\frac {4}{3}

 \frac{ n_{w} }{ n_{g} }  =  \frac{ \frac{c}{ v_{w} } }{ \frac{c}{ v_{g} } }

 \frac{ v_{g}}{ v_{w } }  =  \frac{ n_{w}  }{ n_{g} }

\frac{ v_{g}}{ v_{w } }   =  \frac{ \frac{4}{3} }{ \frac{3}{2} }

v_{g}: v_{w} = 8:9
