The value of 40°C temperature in Kelvin scale is 313 K

Explanation:

Given:

Water freezes at 273 K and boils at 373 K

To find out:

The temperature of 40°C in Kelvin

Solution:

We know that water freezes at 0°C and boils at 100°C

Thus, by comparing these temperatures with the corresponding given temperatures in Kelvin, we find out that

Temperature in Kelvin = Temperature in °C + 273

Therefore, the value of 40°C in kelvin

= 40 + 273

= 313 K

Hope this answer is helpful.
