Hey friend,

_____________________________________________________________

The absolute value of an integer is always greater than the integer.

This statement is true only in some cases .

It can be explained by following examples :-

Let the numbers be -7 , 5 , -113 , 50.

Absolute of -7 =

|-7| = 7 {Greater than -7}

Absolute of 5 =

|5| = 5 {Equal to 5}

Absolute of -113 =

|-113| = 113 {Greater than -113}

Absolute of 50 =

|50| = 50 {Equal to 50}

Hence we can now firmly say that this statement is false.
