Suppose, if transition ground state to fifth state

We need to calculate the emission transition lines between ground state to 5th state

Using formula of emission transition lines

N_{E}=\dfrac{n(n-1)}{2}

Where, n = quantum number

Put the value into the formula

N_{E}=10
