Heroin is a depressant and slows down body functions

they react with the receptors in the brain
eg marijuana, hashish, ganja and charas
They are orally taken or through inhalation and affect the cardiovascular system of the body.
3 Coca Alkaloids/Cocaine
Cocaine interferes with transmission of the neurotransmitter dopamine.
It has stimulating action on CNS and produces a sense of euphoria and energy.

It is obtained from Datura
