Answer:

4√3 m/s

Explanation:

The acceleration displacement graph of a particle moving in a straight line is shown in the figure.

Initial velocity of the particle is zero. Find the velocity of the particle when displacement of the

particle is S = 12 m

Using V² - U² = 2aS

average acceleration till s = 2 m

a = ( 0 + 2) /2 = 1

=> V₂² - 0² = 2(1)2

=> V₂ = 2 m/s  at S = 2

till S = 8 from S = 2 => S = 6

a = 2

V₈² - 2² = 2(2)(6)

=> V₈² - 4 = 24

=> V₈² = 28

from S = 8 to S = 10 S = 2

average acceleration  = (2 + 4)/2 = 3 m/s²

V₁₀² - 28 = 2(3)(2)

=> V₁₀² = 40

from S = 10 to S = 12  S = 2

a = (4 + 0)/2 = 2

V₁₂² - 40 = 2(2)(2)

=> V₁₂² = 48

=>  V₁₂ = 4√3 m/s
