The acceleration due to gravity on the surface of
a planet whose mass is same as that of the Earth
and radius is half of that of the Earth is:
(Mass of Earth = 6 x1024kg and Radius of Earth
= 6.4 x 108 km)

mass of planet = mass of earth

= 6×1024kg

Radius of planet = half of earth

=6.4×108/2km

=3.4×108km

therefore. g=G.m/r²

g=6.67408×10^-11(6×1024)/ 3.4×108

g=35.08m/s²
