The acceleration of a particle starting from rest, varies with time according to the relation A = aω² sinωt. The displacement of this particle at a time (t). 

For the question you are using the Simple Harmonic Motion Aptitude so those formulas include x = A sin ωt and x = A cos ω. If we plug in the information we are given into these equations then we get (D) a sin ω t as our answer.
