The acceleration of an object moving with uniform velocity is 0.Therefore f=m×0=0.But still the object is moving with uniform velocity. How can an object move without any force applied on it?

An object in motion will remain moving with constant velocity unless and until some force is applied on it .It is due to inertia of motion..
There is need to just start its motion by applying some force .After that it will move on without accelerating....
This is ideal condition but in reality, there are so many opposing forces which stop its motion.
Hope it helps..
