Answer :-

The acceleration produced is 1.39 m/ .

Explanation :-

We have :-

→ Initial velocity (u) = 30 km/h

→ Final velocity (v) = 90 km/h

Time taken (t) = 0.2 mins = 12 sec

______________________________

Firstly, let's convert the unit of initial and final velocity of the car from km/h to m/s .

Initial velocity :-

⇒ 1 km/h = 5/18 m/s

⇒ 30 km/h = 30(5/18)

⇒ 150/18 m/s

⇒ 8.33 m/s

Final velocity :-

⇒ 90 km/h = 90(5/18)

⇒ 450/18 m/s

⇒ 25 m/s

______________________________

Now, let's calculate the acceleration of the car by using the 1st equation of motion .

v = u + at

⇒ 25 = 8.33 + a(12)

⇒ 25 - 8.33 = 12a

⇒ 16.67 = 12a

⇒ a = 16.67/12

a = 1.39 m/s²

Given :-

The acceleration produced the velocity of car increases from 30 km per hour 90 km per hour in 0.2 minute

To Find :-

Acceleration

Solution :-

1 km/h = 5/18 m/s

30 km/h = 30 × 5/18 = 5 × 5/3 = 25/3 m/s

90 km/h = 90 × 5/18 = 5 × 5 = 25 m/s

0.2 min = 12 second

a = v - u/t

a = (25 - 25/3)/12

a = (75 - 25/3)/12

a = (50/3)/12

a = 50/3 × 1/12

a = 50/36

a = 1.38 m/s²

Know More :-

1st equation of motion

v = u + at

2nd equation of motion

s = ut + 1/2 × at²

3rd equation of motion

v² - u² = 2as
