Here is ur answer :-

The proportion of collisions that can overcome the activation energyfor the reaction increases with temperature. The only way to explain the relationship between temperature and the rate of a reaction is to assume that the rate constant depends on the temperature at which the reaction is run.

I hope it helps u dear ☺️....

Activation energy is usually dependent on two things:-

  • 1. Nature of reactant:- Activation energy varies with nature as all reactants have different energy or number of bonds. Those reactions which are having less Ea reaction will be at faster rate.

  • 2. Presence of catalyst:- It is also dependent on catalyst present in the reaction because catalyst has full power to give reaction in any other way. We can also say that affects because it has full potential to change reaction mechanism.

So these were the some characteristics on which activation energy depends.
