We need to understand that there is only a minor difference between business, profession and employment.
Nature of returns, extent of freedom and knowledge required are the main differences.
For ex- Teaching can be a source of employment if done in a school.
Teaching becomes business when done independently for the sake of profits.
Teaching becomes a profession when done by acquiring special knowledge in a particular field.
Now we see that the same economic activity can be business, employment and profession at the same time. So, all these 3 activities are complimentary, not competitive to each other.

The activities of business or profession and employment are not at all competitive, rather they are complementary in nature.
A business will only flourish when new people are getting employed.
A business cannot survive single-handedly by a single entity, it is the collective effort of all the people working together that makes a business successful.
