The actual area of a rectangle is 60sq cm but while measuring id length a student decreases it by 20% and the breath increases by 25% the percentage error in area calculated by the student is?

Actual length = 20/100×60

= 12 cm

Actual breadth = 25/100 × 60

= 15 cm

Area of rectangle = L × b

= 12 × 15

= 180 cm²
