Answer :

x = 40°

Solution :

Given,

Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are (4x + 22)° and (x - 42)°

We know that,

Sum of adjacent angles of parallelogram = 180°

4x + 22 + x - 42 = 180

5x - 20 = 180

5x = 200

x = 40°

Answer:

Since we know that sum of adjacent angles of parallelogram =180°

Therefore,(4x+22)+(x-42)=180°

So,5x-20=180°

Hence,x= (180+20)/5

So,x=40°
