The adjacent angles of a parallelogram are (2x-10)0 and (x+40)0.Find measure of these angles?

Answer:

(2x-10) + (x+40) = 180 degrees [sum of adjacent Ls of a llgm is 180 degrees.]

--- 2x - 10 + x + 40 = 180

--- 3x + 30 = 180

--- 3x = 150 ;-- x = 150/3

--- x = 50

Thus;  (2x-10) = [2(50) - 10] = 90 degrees

and;  (x+40) = [50+40] = 90 degrees
