Radii is the plural form of radius.

Semi-circle refers to half-circle.

The radii of small semi-circles have not been given.

The radii of big semi-circles have been given. i.e. 42 cm each

The formula to find the Area of a Circle is

A=\pi r^{2}

Using this formula we can find the Area of a Circle.

Area of each big semi-circle = 1/2(πr²)

Area of each big semi-circle = 1/2[3.1416.(21)²]

Area of each big semi-circle = 1/2[3.1416.(21)²]

Area of each big semi-circle = 692.72 cm²

Similarly,we can find the Area of each small semi-circle.

And we can find the Area of just Shaded-region by using Geometrical methods.
