The adjacent of a parallogelram are 15 cm and 8cm If the distance between the longer side is 4cm find the distance between the shoter side

let distance between shorter side D cm .

USING FORMULA

area of parallelogram = baSe × height

so 15 × 4 = 8 × D

8 D = 60

D = 60/8 = 7.5 cm
