let the sides be x
96=2(5x×3x)
96 =2(8x)
96=16x
x=96÷16=6
5x=5×6=30
3x=3×6=18

Let the sides of the parallelogram be 5a &3a
perimeter=2(5a+3a)

96 = 2×8a
a= 96/16
a = 6 cm
hence sides of parallelogram are 5a=5×6=30cm

3a= 3×6=18cm
