shorter sides is 12 cm, find the distance between the longer sides.

Let the longer side be x

Area of the parallelogram :- base*height

:- 36*x

:- 36x

Area of the another way of parallelogram :- 27*12

:- 36x=27*12

:- x=27*12÷36

:- x=9cm

Longer Side of the parallelogram is 9 cm.
