Hey there !!
Base (bigger side) of parallelogram = 15 cm
Base (smaller side) of parallelogram = 12 cm
Distance (height) between the longer sides = 4 cm
Area of Parallelogram= base (15cm) × height
=> 15 × 4 = 60 cm²
Area of Parallelogram = 60 cm²
Area of Parallelogram =base( 8cm) × height
=> 60 = 8 × height
Height = 60 /8
=> 15/2
=> 7.5 cm
Thus, the Distance between the shorter sides is 7.5 cm
