Sides = (18 × 12) cm

Longer side's distance = 6.4 cm

Shorter " " = x

ATQ ( ACCORDING TO QUESTION )

18 × 6.4 = AREA

&

12 × x = AREA

THEREFORE ;

18 × 6.4 = 12 × x

18 × 6.4 / 12 = x

96 / 10 = x

9.6 = x

SO , THE SHORTER SIDE OF PARALLELOGRAM IS 9.6 cm .
