the adjacent sides of a parallelogram are 30 cm and 24 cm if the perpendicular distance between the shorter side is 12 cm what is the distance between the longer side​

SOLUTION;___✍️

Given: A parallelogram ABCD, AB=DC=30cm

AD=BC= 24cm

Distance between shorter side= 12cm

Now,

Area of ||gm (ABCD)= AB×DE

Area= (30×12)cm^2

= 360cm^2

Again,

Area of ||gm(ABCD)= AD×distance longer sides(d)

= 360cm^2= 24cm×d

= d= 360cm^2/24cm

= d= 15cm

So, Distance between longer side= 15cm ans.
