Heya !!

Longer side = 36 cm , shorter side = 27 cm.

Distance between the shorter sides= 12 cm.

Let the distance between the longer side be X cm.

Area of the parallelogram = ( Longer side × Distance between the longer side ) = ( Shorter side × Distance between the shorter sides).

=> 36 × X = 27 × 12

=> X = ( 27 × 12)/36

=> X = 9 .

Therefore,

Distance between the longer sides = 9 cm.

➡Given that ,

The length of the adjacent sides 36 cm and 27 cm .

Distance between the shorter sides = 12 cm

Distance between the longer sides be X cm

Area of Parallelogram =

27 × 12 = 36 X

27 × 12 / 36 = X

X = 9 cm .

✨Distance between the longer sides is 9 cm
