parallelogram have opposite sides same and parallel that means the distance between the opposite sides is same therefore the distance between two longer sides would be 27

Hii friend,

Longer sides = 36 CM

Shorter sides = 27 CM.

Distance between the shorter sides = 12 CM.

Let, the distance between the longer sides be X CM.

THEREFORE,

Area of parallelogram = ( Longer sides × Distance between the longer sides) = (Shorter side × Distance between the shorter sides).

= 36 × X = 27 × 12

X = 27×12/36 = 9 CM.

Hence,

DISTANCE BETWEEN THE LONGER SIDES = 9 CM.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)
