we know that parallel sides of a parallelogram are equal. therefore it's formula for finding perimeter is same as rectangle. length × breadth.
given the ratio between the adjacent sides of the parallelogram is 3 : 5
let the adjacent sides be 3x and 5x.
therefore 2 ( 3x + 5x ) = 48cm
=> 8x = 24cm
=> x = 24/8
=> x = 3
hence, the sides of the parallelogram are :-
3x = 9cm and 5x = 15cm.
rest of the two sides will be also 9cm and 15cm.

let the sides be in ratio 3x,5x,3x,5x,(opp. sides of parallelogram are equal)
3x+3x+5x+5x=48
16x=48
x=3
then the sides are 9,15,9,15
