Area of a parallelogram = Base x Height
By given condition
Base = 12 cm and height = 6cm
Area = 12 x 6 = 72 square.cm
To find length of the other altitude when base is 8cm
Area. = 72
8 x height = 72
height = 72 / 8. = 9cm
