Answer:

as diagonal of of parallelogram divides it into 2 congruent triangles so,

area will be :

Using Heron's formula:

s=a+b+c/2

=9+8+13/2

=15

area of one triangle = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

                                = √15(15-9)(15-8)(15-13)

                                = √15 x 6 x 7 x 2

                                = √3 x 5 x 2 x 3 x 7 x 2

                                = 2 x 3 √5 x 7

                                = 6√35 cm²

area of parallelogram = area of one triangle x 2

                                    = 6√35 x 2

                                    = 12√35 cm²
