The adjoining figure represents a rectangular lawn with a circular flower bed in the     (2.5 mark each)

(i) the area of the whole land (ii) the area of the flower bed

(iii) the area of the lawn excluding the area of the flower bed

(iv) the circumference of the flower bed.​

Step-by-step explanation:

i) Area of land = length * breadth = 5*10 = 50 m^2

ii) Area of flowerbed = πr^{2} = 22*2*2/7 = 12.571 m^2

iii) Area of lawn excluding flowerbed = 50 - 12.571 = 37.429 m^2

iv) Circumference = 2πr = 2*2*22/7 = 12.571 m
