Diameter = 28 cm.

Radius = 14cm.

Area of circle  = pi * r^2

= 22/7 * 14 * 14
                                     
= 616 Cm^2

Area of one quadrant  = 616 / 4

= 154 cm^2

Area of shaded region = 154 Cm^2.
