The advantages and disadvantages of being an only
child in the family.Essay
Answers
Advantages of being an only child :
The only child in the family, usually gets most of the attention. He/she is an absolute gem for the family.
He doesn't have to share his things, and he gets a more peaceful environment as compared to the ones with siblings.
In other words, his parents try everything that is possible for his good fortune and to provide him opportunities. They work endlessly, just so they can provide you everything that you need as you're their only "angel"
They shower/adore you with love, or should I say the love which isn't divided in any way.
Disadvantages of being an only child :
It is usually tough to teach a single child the importance of sharing things, and the perks of living together.
No matter, how many cousins or friends you have that little place of a genetic sibling, is something you can't replace.
You have to go through more pressure, as compared to kids with siblings because you are the only one who has to fulfill their dreams.
All their hopes will be shattered, if you give up. whereas when you have siblings, your parents know for a fact that if you couldn't do it. Your brother or sister will.
It gets hard for the kid when he needs someone to guide him, and he can't discuss it with parents (Keep it in mind that not every parent is supportive or loves listening and let's agree that many people lack the proper parenting) This is where the older siblings play their role, but without siblings it just comes up as a hole.
I hope these points help you to create a whole essay! I'm sorry for lack of advantages but I'm not the only kid but I have still lived alone and my personal opinion is they have more disadvantages :)
Answer:
The main advantage is that parents are much focused about rising an one child. It is at the centre of attention and it generates a strong relationship with parents. Moreover parents do not have to spend money on another child and you are getting larger share of family income.
