Process of loosening and turning of soil is basically termed as ploughing.

it is also called tilling.

● Ploughing loose the soil particles which help the roots to breathe easily .

● Loosen soil particles can store water for more duration. this helps the root to absorb more water.

● Ploughing helps the roots to penetrate deep easily in the soil.

● Loosed soil can be easily mixed with manures and fertilizers .

● Ploughing also helps to remove weeds.

● Loosen particle of soil promotes growth of microorganisms which add humus to the soil and they are very helpful for the proper growth of plants.

● As we all know that the soil contains nutrients rich part in the under surfaces so, ploughing brings all the under surface at upper surface. due to this plants can easily use those nutrients.
