Ratio is 7:5 x:y is 7:5

x/y =7/5

5x=7y

5x-7y=0 --i

After 10 yrs

The ratio is 9:7

(x+10)/(y+10) =9/7

7x+70=9y +90

Solving the above equation.

7x-9y=20—ii

Solve eq-i &eq-ii on both side.

7x-9y=20

5x-7y=0

x=7y/5

substitute the value of X in eq-ii

7*7y/5–9y=20

49y-45y=100

4y=100

y=25

x =7*25/5 = 35

Rahu  is 35yrs
