Let the present age of A be x years and that of B be y years.

From first condition,

x/y=4/3.

3x=4y

3x-4y=0...........(1)

From second condition,

x+6/y+6=11/9

9(x+6) =11(y+6)

9x+54=11y+66

9x-11y=66-54

9x-11y=12...................(2)

Multiplying equation (1) by 3 we get,

9x-12y=0...............(3)

Subtracting equation, (3) from(2) we get,

y=12 and x=16

Therefore, present age of A is 16 years and

B is 12 years.
