x=y
2x+30=x+90
x = 90-30 = 60
Hence the father's age is 60 years

Answer:

x = y

After 15 years,

Father's age = (x + 15)

Sum of children's age = y + (15×6)

                                     = (y + 90)

after 15 years,

Twice the age of father is sum of ages of children.

= 2 (x + 15) = (y + 90)

= 2x + 30 = y + 90

x = y

= 2x - x = 60

= x = 60

= y = 60
